The market has partnered with the Bedford community health foundation to offer incentives to work with SNAP customers.  Stop by the market managers’ table for more information about using SNAP at the market.

How to use your EBT card at the Forest Farmers Market

 

  1. 1. Talk with the market manager for information about how to use EBT at the market.

  2.  There, the market manager or volunteer will swipe your EBT card for the amount you request. You will receive $1 wooden tokens. These tokens act like cash in the market. 

  3.  Use your tokens to buy fruit, vegetables, meat, eggs, baked goods, herbs and more!

Como usar su tarjeta EBT en el Mercado de Agricultores

 

Utilizando su tarjeta EBT en un mercado de agricultores:


1. Busque la mesa con información del gerente del mercado de agricultores.


2. El gerente deslizará su tarjeta EBT y le dará la cantidad de dinero que le solicite. Usted recibirá la cantidad solicitada en forma de fichas de madera de $1 de valor. Estas fichas funcionan en el mercado como dinero en efectivo.


3. ¡Use las fichas para comprar frutas, vegetales, carne, huevos, productos de panadería, especias y muchas cosas más!
